Breaking down the barriers of the blues while churning up a style and sound of their own, they create a solid mixture of rocking original blues music with innovative cover material. MD&RT is a versatile show band that's been lighting up the mid-west since May of 2003.

In 2005 they began touring the world with Armed Forces Entertainment, bringing the best of America to much deserving troops in; Greenland, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Getmo Cuba, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Africa, and Saudi Arabia This is important, as a wonderful way to see the world, and an opportunity to give back to our Military. It's their sacrifice that makes it possible for them to play music and see the world in peace and security.

The band consists of, the captivating front man Matthew D. on guitar and lead vocals, Eugene Smiley on 9 string bass and vocals, Chip Walker on drums, Michael Gregory on keyboards, guitar and vocals.

In June of 2006, RT released their all original, debut CD, Notes From The Edge. Receiving much radio airplay and critical success, fans are awaiting their sophomore release. They've shared the stage with some of the industries most acclaimed artists such as; Indigenous, Deborah Coleman, Chick Willis, Jimmy Lee Robinson, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Little Milton, Russell Jackson and Govt. Mule.

After performing abroad for the military in 2008, the band began touring full time domestically for Amristar Casino properties.
